Prague
is well known to us as we visit regularly, it is a unique
and beautiful city and we cannot sing its praises enough.
Totally unspoilt by war, its old and (central) new town
centres feature a diverse range of architecture dating
from 13th - 18th century buildings in virtually every
street and corner.
Music:-
there are few cities that can compete with its range of
classical music. Three Opera Houses, four concert halls
and some ten other concert venues in buildings constructed
around the 1600's.
Jazz is
well catered for with six locations including the one in
which Bill Clinton played and joined a 'Jam Session'!
Theatre: -
five which offer mime, music and even two which offer marionettes
in two hour productions of classical opera or musicals.
Prices: -
low for the quality - where else can you get a seat at
the Opera for £6? |
